John
Mayes, LCSW and CADC,
was appointed President and CEO of Trilogy in January 2006. He came
to Trilogy from Thresholds, where he rose from Program Coordinator to
Associate Director. At the time of his departure, he managed most of
the agency’s programs on Chicago’s South and West sides
and the Near-West suburbs. His many accomplishments included a significant
expansion of Thresholds’ nationally recognized training program.
Mayes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and
Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC). He earned his Master’s Degree
in Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago. A former President
of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill-Greater Chicago, he currently
serves as Treasurer of the Board for NAMI-IL. |

Dr.
Daskovsky joined Trilogy in early 1998 and
has served as Director of Acute Services, Director of Psychosocial Rehabilitation,
and since 2003, the agency’s Clinical Director. He is an Assistant
Professor at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine
and has taught widely on the treatment of severe and persistent mental
illness. He has served as the Chair of the State of Illinois Department
of Mental Health Metro North Psychosocial Rehabilitation Advisory Committee
and is currently a member of the Community Behavioral Health Association's
Mental Health Committee and the Mental Health Association of Illinois'
Public Policy Committee.

Ms.
McMahon leads Trilogy, Inc. Development, Community Services and Communication/PR
departments. Her experience in fundraising and community outreach include
benefit Chair positions and business development within the Catholic Archdiocese
of Chicago. Before focusing on development, Ms. McMahon served for many
years as a Regional Sales Manager in the bridal industry and as a Marketing
Services Manager in the costume jewelry industry. Ms. McMahon’s
desire to return to work in the nonprofit mental health field brought
her to Trilogy, Inc. in December 2006. She earned her bachelor degree
from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Ms.
Doig began her career with Trilogy in 1994. She left in 1997 to attend graduate
school at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Following graduation,
Susan spent several years working with people with serious mental illness
who were returning to the community from Cook County Jail. She rejoined
Trilogy as Assistant Clinical Director in September of 2005. Her Current
focus is on strengthening partnerships, collaborations and taking the
lead on project management at Trilogy. Susan also serves as Trilogy’s
representative to the Mental Health Summit of Illinois. |
